Field Coordinator – Solid Waste Management Project (Swm)

The consultant field coordinator will be responsible for carrying out the following: Coordinate the day to day implementation of activities of the intervention; Assist in assessing and reporting the needs and capacities of the local communities with respect to solid waste management; Identify target households and manage the distribution of waste sorting bins according to pre-set plans; Liaise with community groups on a regular basis including volunteers, neighborhood committees, informal pickers, local authority and other stakeholders; Provide accurate and timely data that feed into the achievement of project objectives, including both activities directly implemented by ANERA as well as those implemented by partner organizations; Ensure activities are implemented in accordance with plan set by the project manager; Maintain proper and updated monitoring of capacity building and awareness activities with proper documentation of such monitoring activities including list of participants, attendance, questionnaires, pre and posttests; Assist in the organization, preparation and implementation of trainings, community events and awareness campaigns, emphasizing key hygiene promotion messages; Report challenges or problems faced in a timely manner and participate in planning modifications to plans as needed; Assist in monitoring and evaluation tasks assigned by the project manager; Act as focal point for different project stakeholders; Manage and Coordinate local and field visits for project managers or any concerned parties; Submit monthly reports on development of activities, results, challenges and achievements of project as per templates; Perform other tasks as the need arises.
