Social Worker

Fratelli Association will open a social and educative center in the 4th floor of the school Saint Vincent De Paul (De La Salle) in Bourj Hammoud. The aim of the center is to implement programs for children and the youth living in vulnerable situations due to social difficulties or war. The center will welcome 80 children from 4 to 14 year old, mainly iraqi refugees. Educative activities will be organized from Monday to Friday.   The social worker will have the following tasks: -Visit the families of the children registered at the center -Provide guidance to the families according to their needs -Organize social and educative activities for the children of the center -Develop the network of contacts in the area (NGO, municipality, local community...) -Coordinate the team of educators of the center -Assist in the launching of vocational training   Expected qualities: -Flexibility in the schedule and tasks -Teamwork spirit -Spirit of service to the most vulnerable people -Communication skills -Problem solving skills -Good management of stress and work -Acceptance of different cultures   There will be three months probation period
