Psychologist

JOB DESCRIPTION Administers assessments to children with special needs (learning difficulties, ADHD, etc.) Coordinates with other key staff members to devise an education plan for the child. Provides the patient’s family with information regarding the child’s progress and treatment.  Every referral to other specialists (internal and external) and contact with other NGOs should be with the coordination and supervision of the project coordinator.  Undertakes and writes assessments that satisfy required standards and deadlines.  Conducts interviews with children and their families to assess and review their situation.  Actively collaborates with the multidisciplinary team.  Participates in team meetings, peer supervisions and case studies.  Undergoes individual supervision when needed.  Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to work as assigned under the supervision of the project coordinator.  Does home visits for specific reasons (observing family dynamic, relation between the family members, communication...) Attends and participates actively in regular meetings, seminars and trainings.   Follows Restart center policies and bylaws. Please note that the Education Project will commence in January 2017
