Purpose of the position: support project coordinators in programme planning, implementation and monitoring to ensure that War Child’s programme is in line with War Child’s mandate.
Major Responsibilities:
Support and provide coaching to 2 project coordinators and 1 project assistant on project planning, implementation and monitoring (total of 5 projects)
Support and provide coaching to 2 project coordinators and 1 project assistant on budget monitoring, follow up and reallocations
Review and finalize project documentation including monthly reports, partners funding agreements and budgets
Support PM and PDM on internal reporting to HO
Support PM and PDM on external reporting
Support PM and PDM in drafting proposals
Support and provide coaching to Programme team on donor’s compliance
Support PM and OSM on overall budget monitoring and reallocations
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Degree in Social Sciences or related subject
Experience of Programme management in INGOs – at least 3 years
Experience in team management – at least 3 years
Experience in capacity building of local teams
Knowledge of and experience working in child protection, psychosocial and education programming
Fluency in English (spoken and written) essential
Proactive

Knowledge of and experience in using word and excel
