Human Resources Assistant (Kweikhat - Akkar)

ROLE PURPOSE: The Human Resources Assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.  SCOPE OF ROLE: Reports to: HR Officer KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Support to the Recruitment process -       Schedule, organize and represent HR department in interviews (as required) -       Ensure that the recruitment process is respected by all involved parties  Employee Relations and Communication -      Process staff requests and follow up on transactions with CO -      Send copies of all HR related letters and papers to respective persons on time -      Ensure that all staff has a copy of policy handbook and understand all sections properly  Child Safeguarding and Inductions: -       Assist in staff induction process working closely with other HR colleagues -       Assist the Child Safeguarding Focal Point/Trainer – ensure that existing and new staff are properly inducted on the CS Policy as well as following up confidentially on any CS issues that arise  Filing System -      Maintain and update all personnel files in the area office -      Update and maintain the HR files hard and soft copies -      Prepare all types of letters and contracts  HR support: -       Support in organizing wide trainings/workshops, etc. -       Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties -       Maintain the HR trackers up to date: leaves, training, recruitment, and any other relevant tracker -       Make use of all available policies, practices, checklists and guidelines -       Ensure legal compliance and SCI minimum standards in all HR processes -       Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes   QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE  -       Human Resources Management degree or Diploma / Certificate in HR is preferred -       1 to 2 years of relevant working experience -       Good understanding on HR administration related issues, basic on general HR management, knowledge on office management and filing -       Excellent interpersonal communication skills, very accurate in drafting letters and emails, good in database information management, maintaining confidentiality, documentation & filing skills -       Good communication (English & Arabic) -       Excellent time management skills -       Commitment to Save the Children values
