Community Facilitator (Jdeideh)

Job description including qualifications and competencies: To coordinate the implementation of outreach activities in each of the areas covered by the project through volunteers, supervising them and doing periodical reports on the activity. To maintain regular contacts with the local stakeholder, with a specific focus on Syrian Community residing in the area, Lebanese local Community and Local Authority. To conduct Community Outreach activities (home visits, focus group, community meetings). To support in the preparation of special events, recreational, cultural and sport activities together with project staff. To participate in coaching and training sessions. To support preparation and implementation of recreational activities and awareness sessions. To monitor recreational activities implemented by the volunteers. To perform all organizational and administrative work related to outreach team, including regular reporting to the Community Empowerment Officer and Project Manager To assess the needs of beneficiaries and to contribute to the implementation of a referral system. To maintaining regular contacts with the referral organizations and other stakeholders, to feed back the referral system. To report any kind of abuse. To plan and request the material needed for the activities of the community Empowerment team Keep a database of stakeholders and local partners To comply with the TDH IT Code of Conduct Any other task relevant to the position. Key Working Relationships: Position Reports to:  Community Empowerment Officer Indirect Reporting:  Project Manager Other Internal and/or external contacts: Internal: other members of TDH IT programs in the field   External: local partner –Other NGOs/INGOs Job Requirements: Education: secondary school Work Experience: 1 year work experience in similar position Experience in working in a cross cultural environment preferable   Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:  Team spirit, Good communication skills Time management and organizational skills Accountability   Others:  Fluency in written and spoken Arabic, English speaking is a plus Valid Lebanese driving license A car is an asset
