We are looking for an Early Years Childcare Professional to join our team on “Early Childhood Program”.
You will be working part time in a friendly nursery in partnership with the management team, and will supervise and support all practitioners across the nursery to provide high quality interactions, which extends children’s learning and thinking.
You will also have the exciting opportunity to oversee and operate a program of suitable learning and play activities in line with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). You must have good knowledge of the EYFS and experience as a key person. You will be friendly, hardworking and have a positive can-do attitude.
Your role as Nursery will include:
Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children
Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
Are specialists in early childhood development and will have Early Years Teacher Status or Early Years Professional Status, reflecting the specialist role that they have in working with children from 3 to 6 years old.
Make education and care of children their first concern. They are accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in their professional practice and conduct.
The role will work closely with the Lead Early Years Specialist Teacher and Early Years Quality Improvement Manager in developing and monitoring a clear quality improvement plan for the nursery in partnership with the nursery team.

Demonstrate good knowledge of early learning and EYFS
Plan education, taking into account the needs of all children from 3 to 6 Years
Adapt education and care to respond to the strength and needs of all children
Experience & Skills required:
Experience of working with children from Three to Six Years
Proven success in managing change, leading improved quality teaching and learning in Early Years
Demonstrate a proactive approach to taking responsibility for getting things done
You must have strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
You must be competent in Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
