Job Profile/ Description Job Title Accountant Department/Project Finance Direct Supervisor Financial  manager Job Classification   1. Job Purpose: To Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports. 2. Dimensions: 3. Key Result Areas: a.      Performing Accounting Functions : -          Assisting in preparation and analysis of monthly financial and management reports. -          Maintaining records and make sure all financial transaction are carried out. -          Oversee daily office expenses and control cash book. -          Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and LADE procedures. -          Responsible for distributing financial statements and cost center reports. -          Responsible for all taxes obligations. -          Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information.   b.      Provide financial support : -          Distributes monthly comparison reports and cost center reports according to schedules. -          Analyzing variances and exploring potential problems with the management. -          Work with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits. -          Assist in the budgeting process.    c.       Provide administration assistant : -          Maintaining the inventory of stationary and office equipment and supplies. -          Establish and maintain physical and electronically filling system. -          Assist and provide logistical support.   4. Minimum Qualifications: Education BA degree in Accounting. Good command of English, and Arabic ,French is an asset Experience At least 3 years of experience in Accounting Field. Good knowledge of NGO work. Computer Capable of using main computer applications (Microsoft Office Application…)   Knowledgeable for the financial and accounting systems   Skills and personal traits Very good communication skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
