Monitoring And Content Tracking Assistant

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Help manage, monitor and moderate IWPR Syria website and social and online media accounts;  Actively promote and syndicate IWPR Syria content in local regional and international media and ensure correct attribution is provided for all IWPR-generated content;  Drive consistent, relevant traffic from IWPR's Syria social media presence; Track, measure and analyse success of social media campaigns and content produced; Work with Syria project coordinators to keep an up-to-date record of published content including reach and analytics; Contribute to internal and external communications and online media campaigns with graphic materials, including; posters, infographics, email shots, adverts, newsletters, and web graphics etc. as needed;  Create or commission short promotional videos and texts.   PERSON SPECIFICATION Experience Essential Managing social media accounts and promoting content; IT literacy and proficiency in using social media software to monitor traffic and reach; Fact-checking and validating social media and written sources; Producing written and multimedia content for the web, such as blogs, Facebook, Twitter etc. Desirable Experience with online marketing; Knowledge of HTML/CSS and Adobe Creative Suite; Managing online forums.   Knowledge/Skills Essential Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and creative thinking; Native fluency in written and spoken Arabic; Proficiency in written and spoken English; Highly organised approach to work; Ability to work to given deadlines and under pressure; Professional work ethic; Ability to work as part of an editorial and administrative team. Desirable Networking skills; Analytical skills and interest in using data to optimise social media strategies/tactics; Effective responses to unpredictable work patterns
