Job Overview/Summary:
The Makhzoumi Foundation is seeking a Human Resources Manager who will be based in and work from our Beirut office. The HR Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
The HR Manager will ensure compliance with local rules and regulations and improve the capacity of the current programs and units as the office continues to grow and diversify its projects and activities. Activities include the review and update of the personnel manual, recruitment, performance and attendance monitoring and promotion procedures in addition to other related matters in order strengthen HR processes while ensuring consistency, transparency and fairness.
Major Responsibilities:
Manage the recruitment and selection process
Review job promotion policy for existing staff and suggest change in process if needed.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
Monitoring staff performance and attendance
Nurture a positive working environment
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Maintain pay plan and benefits program
Other
Approve job descriptions and advertisements
look after the health, safety and welfare of all employees
Key Working Relationships:

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Advanced University Degree in HR or Business, Economics, Law, Management or Psychology with specialization in HR.
- At least three years managerial experience dealing with team and organizational building.
- Experience in a Lebanese organization
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure in complex, high-speed and challenging Strong sense of personal integrity and understanding of confidentiality and ethics
- Extensive knowledge of the Lebanese Labor Law and HR best practices
