Case Worker

Job description including qualifications and competencies: Identify individual cases in collaboration with CP north Bekaa team and through regular presence in the community Accept referrals from other agencies and community partners Provide individual case management for children and their families in accordance with all case management steps and related tools and procedures Ensure the correct documentation and compilation of CM forms in accordance with all case management steps and related tools and procedures Update regularly the database to ensure a comprehensive record of the database Ensure that all cases are addressed immediately and shared with the supervisor  Work closely with the other organization in order to ensure smooth referral Participate actively in weekly case management team meetings Provide ongoing support to families, foster and alternative care systems Communicate regularly with supervisor, CM Project Manager and CM Specialist for updates on achievements and challenges Collaborate closely with the other members of the CM team and the CP team Directly communicate with other caseworkers and service providers as part of conducting individual case management Regularly attend case management meetings at field level Consistently and proactively monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams; promptly reporting concerns or incidents to management and  liaising with community leaders and other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment for programs To comply with the TDH-It Code of Conduct Other duties as assigned by the supervisor   Key Working Relationships:   Position Reports to:  Case Management supervisor Indirect Reporting: Project Manager and Case Management Specialist Other Internal and/or external contacts: Internal: other members TDH IT programs in the field   External: local partner –Other NGOs/INGOs   Job Requirements: Education: secondary school Work Experience: 1 year work experience in similar position Experience in working in a cross cultural environment preferable   Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:  Team spirit, Good communication skills Time management and organizational skills Accountability   Others:  Fluency in written and spoken Arabic, English speaking is a plus Valid Lebanese driving license is a plus A car is an asset   Experience required: from 2 to 3 years Language/s: Fluency in written and spoken Arabic, English speaking is a plus
