MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Under the supervision of WaSH Deputy Program Manager, the WaSH Supervisor is responsible for the daily technical planning, supervision, monitoring and reporting of the field activities of capacity building and awareness, and for ensuring proper coordination with communities, municipalities, other authorities and related ACF departments. She/he provides leadership to the team. Objective 1: Supervise and implement of trainings and capacity building activities to municipalities, and local community governance structures (including water management, advocacy, proposal development, etc) Follow up training programmes installation of water tanks, latrines and Centralize Water Systems at different sites working closely with the local partner, providing technical advice and WASH orientation. Monitoring the trainings and the quality of the capacity building programs. Establishing and promoting linkages between District authorities, municipalities and communities. Monitoring water quality (chemical and bacteriological) at different water points. Informing and documenting the anomalies and the challenges carried out in the water management, and the material necessary for the programme’s activities. Objective 2: Supervise and implement of community awareness campaigns for Water Quality and Conservation among local civil society Ensure understanding and needs of the communities on water at domestic and agricultural uses. Coordination with the local partners and Water team on best implementation. Conduct of social mobilization and sensitization of these best practices into the commu Coordinate the community mobilizers and volunteers in awareness sessions about best practices and alternatives solutions in water use. Informing and documenting the anomalies happened during mobilization campaigns, and possible improvement necessary for the activities. Objective 3: Data collection and reporting Data collection and recording regarding the project indicators and the potentials beneficiaries. Regular reporting of work progress to the Deputy Program Manager. Report possible problem or conflict during the activities. Report the use of materials and possible improvement. Objective 4 : Team management Supervise and mentor the staff under his/her supervision as well as partners. Participate in staff training, helping to build technical capacity of staff, operators and partners in the area of WASH and MEAL Helps to develop and execute context-specific solutions to improve collaboration, coordination and performance. Objective 5 : Security Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols. Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or noncompliance with the security plan. Objective 6: Support all ACF activities Support the emergency interventions of ACF, as per the employee’s competences. Support any activity that helps reaching ACF humanitarian goals, as per the employee’s abilities. Participate in new assessment. Support other activities if needed. KNOWLEDGE, CAPABILITIES, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Knowledge in technical training in implementation of basic water management capacity building programs and water quality.  Experience in community mobilization and participation, experience in a similar position. Team leader, reporting capacity, organised and rigorous, availability/learning capacity Ability to work in a team, interpersonal qualities and diplomacy MS Office, compulsory expertise in Excel.
