Finance Assistant / Regional Mission

MAIN TASKS   1.   ACCOUNTANCY • Ensure the quality of the invoices; • Translate to English the invoices and all necessary documents including partners’ accounting documents; • Ensure the validation of Partners’ invoices in accordance with HI process (Commitment of Expenses); • Computerize the expenditures in the accountancy books; • Make a copy of the accounting documents to be kept in the office; • Scan the accountancy for sending to the Finance officer; • Prepare the monthly sending to the coordination for checking (original invoices); • Organize and compile the partners documents and files (invoices, cash book); • Prepare the VAT report on a monthly basis and submit on a quarterly basis; • Check on a weekly basis the correctness of the data entry and submit to his/her line manager for validation; 2.   CASH FLOW MANAGEMENT • Responsible of the cashbox; • Realize all payments in cash in the respect of HI procedures, and manage advance with Logistics Department; • Limit cash flow shortage by anticipating cash and money change needs; • Make sure to keep the adequate quantity of money in the cashbox;   3.   COORDINATION & REPORTING • Participate actively to internal meeting and takes minutes upon request; • Provide any additional support upon request of Line Manager;   Note that this job description must remain flexible, to respond to additional tasks or changes as identified by the line manager.

Education and experience: - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, especially Accounting and finance.
- Experience with NGO is a strong asset

Computer Skills:
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge in Photo editor softwares is a strong asset.
