Gbv Officer

Overall responsibility: Responsible of the planning, implementation and reporting of all protection activities targeting girls and women in the gateways covered by field office, as well as of the referral of GBV cases.   Tasks and Responsibilities:   Supervise activities in Women Safe Spaces (emotional support, vocational trainings..) in collaboration with the Protection Technical Advisor Support SDC/CBO staff to organize activities targeting girls and women Participate in the design of project activities, curricula, monitoring systems and capacity building activities, with a focus on women and girls Conduct risk assessment visits to identify risks faced by women and girls in their settlements  and mitigate these risks through referrals to other partners, provision of in-house services and advocacy Work with the Case Manager to improve pathways for referral for GBV cases Support, coach and mentor staff, community leaders, CBO/SDC staff to make sure that GBV messages are well developed and transferred , monitor their work on the ground and provide guidance and oversight   Participate in writing of all required protection reports (for AVSI, donors, partners, etc) and work in close collaboration with the M&E Officer (Protection) for data reporting and analysis
