Who are we? DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects. For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk   About the job Supporting the monitoring, evaluation and learning department in guarding the distribution site   Duties • Daily attendance/supervision of distribution • Making sure no one enters the distribution site outside working hours unless he/or she takes permission from the Distribution officer or office manager, and this includes relatives/friends etc... • Collecting tables and chairs after every distribution activity and recounting them. • Making sure the water fridge is available at the site • Daily examination of electricity generator • Informing about any security incident at the distribution site or in the area • Responsible for cars at the parking area in the site, and making sure the cars belong to DRC and WFP only.   About you To be successful in this role you must have a school degree, to be above 35 years old and to be able to work in hard conditions. We offer An interesting volunteering job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 4.5 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from March 2016 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli. The volunteer working in DRC gets a maximum of 432$ per month.   Commitments DRC has a Humanitarian Accountability Framework, outlining its global accountability commitments.
