Strategic Plan Consultant

Youth for Development (YFD) as a part of its commitment to continuous improvement is seeking the assistance of a consultant to develop a strategic plan for YFD. The objective of the Strategic Plan is to guide YFD team for the five years in planning, implementing, and controlling the key administrative and academic resources in an effective and efficient manner to create a competitive advantage for YFD in the NGO sector. Qualified consultants with experience in strategic planning, research, and evaluation within the NGO sectors are kindly requested to apply their terms of reference. The consultant will be responsible for providing expert advice in the following at minimum: The plan should include “phased in “ approach : Short term (immediate- 6 month –1 year ) Medium term (2-4 years) Long term (4-5years) Assessment of environmental scan and existing plans/documents pertinent to the comprehensive  strategic plan , identifying trends, and patterns that are applicable, analyzing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.   The submitted proposals will be evaluated upon the following criteria: Experience of the primary consultant -20% Qualifications -15% Quality of the approach /methodology -25% Understanding of objectives -20% Work plan, , schedule and level of effort -20%
