    HANDICAP INTERNATIONAL Humanitarian Mine Action Program in Lebanon is now recruiting     Position                                     Paramedic Working place                         Toula –Batroun with daily travels with the team to assigned working areas. Working hours                        winter: 6:30 till 15:30 and Summer: 5:30 till 14:30 Starting date                           upon budget confirmation; estimated starting date on April 4th, 2016 Contract duration                   till the end of project                                                                                                                      Pre-post training                    2 weeks training starting 14/03/2016   Handicap International is an independent and impartial international non-governmental aid organisation. Handicap International Lebanon program main objectives are to mitigate the threat of mines and un-exploded ordnance in high and medium impacted communities in North Lebanon Province according to the needs and priorities identified in the strategic planning of the Lebanon Mine Action Center.   Brief description about the position 1/ Provide medical assistance on the current mine and explosive remnants of war clearance operations with HI Mine clearance team 2/ Ensure proper filing and reporting of operational data Expected profile 1/ Field of study: BT in nursing or Advanced First Aid experience; 2/ Field of experience: Previous experience in demining project is recommended, experience with Lebanese Red Cross or similar NGO is preferable; 3/ Years of experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in Medic or Paramedic field; 4/ Competencies: very good knowledge of First Aid, Trauma life support, Injection IV, Medication use and specifications; 5/ Knowledge: Patient psychology, first aid process; 6/ Languages: Arabic, essential speaking and writing, English desirable but not essential.   Application Motivation letter, CV, scan of identity card , driving license certificate, photocopy of diplomas and certificates of experience;   Contact By e-mail to recruitment.dam@handicap-international-lb.org with a subject “Paramedic” By hand in a sealed envelope to one of Handicap International addresses (Toula - Batroun, Official school of Toula next to Abana Hermitage or to Jbeil Byblos office, Mrabaa street behind Byblos municipality Bassil bldg 3rd floor facing Salut Store) Deadline: February 14th, 2016     Handicap International is an equal opportunities employer and all applicants will be considered.
