Psychologist

Conducts awareness and psychosocial support sessions for vulnerable children and families.
Conducts assessments of families, individuals, and households to determine the best course of action
Provides support to refugee children and their families experiencing abuse, trauma, or difficulty coping to their lives as refugees.
Prepare and animate Group Support sessions for Children.
Take charge of individual counseling sessions and the extended follow up of the cases
Consults, assesses, coordinates and implements a plan for intervention to ensure the psychological, social, and physical well-being of refugee children and their families.
Participates in the case management meetings and proposes and conducts referrals to specialized organizations whenever necessary.
Evaluate the psychological needs of the beneficiaries: Diagnose any psychiatric or psychological disorder. Define the best response (treatment and strategy) to answer these psychological needs.
Conduct home visits and participate in periodical parent’s meetings.

Conduct positive parenting sessions in different refugee and migration contexts.
Conducts awareness sessions to adults on issues related to psychological well-being.
Maintains the psychological files of the beneficiaries and updates them regularly.
Prepares and delivers reports to the management whenever requested.
Attends weekly case management meetings.
