Applications must include the following: -          CV including contact information of three references -          Capacity building methodology, tools and approaches (maximum of 1 page) -          Daily rate in USD Deadline for submission     4 January 2016, 11:59 p.m. Beirut time   Background International Relief and Development (IRD), through its Capacity Support for Civil Society (CSCS) program, is seeking a qualified trainer to deliver a capacity building training on Psychosocial Support to civil society organizations.   Location The capacity building training will be delivered in Istanbul, Turkey. Time Frame The training will be delivered on 23 January 2016. Additionally, the consultant should allow up to 3 days of preparation and 1 day of reporting.   Description of Services   Under the overall guidance of, and in coordination with, the Program Manager and the Program Coordinator, the selected consultant will design and deliver the training service in line with the following specific guidelines:   One capacity building training on Psychosocial Support tailored to civil society organizations; the outline includes but is not limited to:   -          Introduction to psychosocial support -          Importance of psychosocial support in the development sector -          How NGO leaders can provide psychosocial support to staff -          How NGO staff can provide psychosocial support to beneficiaries in local communities -          Challenges, approaches, and methodology     The training will be delivered in Arabic language but the training materials are to be developed in both Arabic and English language. The training materials have to be approved by IRD prior to trainings and distribution to civil society organizations. The selected consultant is to be aware that all training materials developed within this scope are deemed IRD’s property.    Required Deliverables The selected service provider will be required to submit the following deliverables:   One capacity building training delivered The training material must be provided to IRD Program Manager in English and Arabic prior to the training. Report for the training, including a three-page overview.   Evaluation Criteria  IRD Evaluation Committee consisted of senior program management will review all applications submitted before the deadline. In addition to price, the Committee will consider how well the application demonstrates the overall technical methodology that is proposed for the training. IRD Evaluation Committee shall use the following specific technical criteria and only the consultants who meet these criteria will be considered for the training service:   Application submitted before the deadline. Relevant experience with civil society organizations and/or similar programs. Clear description of training methodology and tools responsive to the Scope of Work.  Proposed daily rate submitted in USD.
