Senior Field Officer

Senior Missing Field Officer 　 As part of the Protection Department, participates in the delegation’s work with respect to objectives and strategies on all aspects of the different files related to Missing persons as a consequence of the different conflicts which took place in Lebanon since 1975. Main Responsibilities: · Contributes to the general knowledge of the Delegation about the issue of Missing persons and humanitarian consequences and needs of their families. · Is aware and follows the ICRC’s and other relevant international standards applicable to the Missing, including participation in and/ or organization of appropriate initiatives for this purpose. · Supports the Delegate in charge of the Missing file in the implementation and development of the overall Missing strategy · Maintains contacts with authorities at various degrees · Supervises staff and contributes to appraisals Skills and qualifications: · University degree · Minimum 3-5 years work experience in a similar field · Fluent in written and spoken English · Team leadership skills · Good knowledge of the geographically assigned environment · Good analytical and communication skills · Capacity to work independently · Good representation and networking skills · Good organizational skills 　 Start of work: ASAP Working base: Beirut, with field trips all over Lebanon.
