Ece Specialist Consultant

THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY: World Vision is looking for an Early Childhood Specialist with a strong experience in Early Childhood Education. The consultant’s main role is to contribute to quality improvement of the current ECE programme content, lessons and activities, ensure that minimum standards of the Early Childhood Education are considered and in line with the Lebanese curriculum, and to improve the ECE centers physically according to the international standards within the ECE project located in the Bekaa.   SPECIFIC REQUIRED TASKS:   Assist Early Childhood Caregivers in conducting structured ECE activities and Review the day- to- day programme activities per the established schedule and modules Monitor distribution of the lesson plan in correspondence with the project duration and objectives Conduct various field visits to the different areas of operations to monitor and supervise the progress of the work weekly. Plan with the Early Childhood Caregivers monthly meetings for parents. Evaluate the competencies and training needs of staff. Coach and give technical support needed for Early Childhood Caregivers within their daily work. Set weekly meetings with ECE caregiver to follow up on the implementation of ECE classes and progress of children. Assist in the provision of appropriate capacity building for Early Childhood Caregivers upon identified needs. Follow up with ECE caregivers on the delivery of progress report of children and the documented competencies gained and skills needed to access formal education.
