About the jobAssist in implementing all CSP activities in his/her AOR.
Duties•Raise awareness about the CSP initiative and mobilizing communities actors to submit proposals;•Establish committees, train them and design projects based on the needs in coordination with CSP Officer;•Conduct need assessments with host and refugee communities including municipalities, community representatives and youth (maintaining gender balance) in coordination with CSP Officer;•Conduct FGDs with host and refugee communities to identify common priorities for a particular area in coordination with CSP Officer;•Assist applicants in project design and the submission process;•Inform communities of project value—both monetary and social impact--and provide regular updates on all expenditure on projects to CSP Officer; •Ensure full accountability to communities (and DRC) of the use of project funds;•Create work plans (daily and weekly) and report updates on progress of all projects on a regular basis and a final monitoring report upon completion;•Monitor project implementation (CFW, CSPs, EPRP) on a regular basis and participate in periodic reviews of the program, providing support where needed;
About youTo be successful in this role you must have•Education as civil or structural engineer, architect and/or other related field of study.;•Minimum one year of Experience in a similar field,•Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of client at all times; •Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility.•Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel); •Fluency in Arabic required.•Arabic, Strong command in English written and spoken.
We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant acontract till end of July 2016, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from January4th and be willing and able to work in Kobayat-Akkar.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level B1, equivalent to 1,204 USD per month.
