Wash/shelter Field Officer (Lebanese Nationals Only)

Background ACTED is an International Non-Governmental Organization registered in France with global operations in Central and South Asia, Europe, Middle-East and Africa. ACTED has been active in Lebanon since 2006 operating mainly in the North and Beirut and Mount Lebanon governorates of Lebanon. ACTED has been implementing WASH and Shelter interventions in various areas of the country.    **Please note: This is a local position. Only Lebanese citizens are eligible to apply.** Assignment The Field officer is in charge of implementing project assessment and distributions to targeted households in their designated area. The field officer will work under the supervision of the Senior Field Officer to ensure that targets are reached in their area of intervention for cash assessments, and cash transfers. Functions The Field Officer will be responsible for implementing project assessments and distributions as per program guidelines and will directly undertake and document the following tasks; Conduct day-to-day field visits and assessments; Direct contact of beneficiaries through phone communication or household visits; Ensures that all assessments conducted are uploaded; Ensures that reporting conducted by the end of each day is accurate; Implement distribution of cash assistance; Ensure all project documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner; Notifies Senior Field Officer in case of any problem or obstacle in the field; Inform relevant ACTED focal points of any security threats or incidents in the field; Skills required -           Experience in outreach or community work -           Experience in conducting interviews/assessments -           Strong communication skills -           Experience in distribution or logistics is preferred -           Experience working with local authorities an asset
