Minimum required knowledge & experience:
University degree or professional diploma
3 - 5 years work experience in a similar field
Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
Very good computer skills
Good communication, analytical and Team leadership skills
Equipped with the following skills : teamwork ; adaptation and learning ; planning, organization and evaluation; analytical and synthesis ; responsibility and autonomy ; supervision and team leading
Understanding of medical and pharmaceutical needs in hospitals and good knowledge of the Lebanese health system
Ability to adhere to the general principles and procedures of the ICRC
Standard function description:
Assists the hierarchy in running support or operational activities for specific & complex sectors
Develops and maintains contacts with authorities or other external interlocutors at district level mainly independently
Contributes to written reporting
In charge of specific projects/files of the structure/dept independently
Supervises staff
Under the supervision of deputy health coordinator and the hospital project manager; implement and monitor care and pharmaceutical activities, this in accordance with the standards in force in Lebanon and within the ICRC .
Administration / Management
Assists the ICRC Hospital Program Manager (HPM) in the daily running of activities at RHUH
Performs administrative and office support activities for the RHUH project management staff
Receives/distributes/sends mail and documents internally and externally (DEL and SD)
In collaboration with the HPM, produces and follows up on internal requests and local purchases
Performs monthly stock control, inventories, ordering of replenishment and distribution of all non-medical supplies
Provides the HPM with a monthly updated list of non-medical purchases (additional to the monthly replenishment)
Financial
Manages the working advance and the working advance payments
Checks the bills and arranges the payments of local purchases if needed
Follows up on the timely provision of hospital bills
Verifies the bills of the hospitalized and discharged patients, compiles and files them and submit the bills to the Delegation for payment
Logistics
Produces medical RO’s under the direction of the HPM
Coordinates and follow up with logistics department in regard to the delivery of the medical consumables and equipment
