Program Advisor, Capacity Development And Monitoring In The Field Of Psychosocial Support

The Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH offers the following vacancies in Lebanon:   Program Advisor, Capacity Development and Monitoring in the field of Psychosocial Support   Tasks: Support the Team Leader with regard to the implementation of the capacity development component in the field of Psychosocial Support Support cooperation and coordination with relevant partners on a regular base Coordinate the interventions of short-/long-term consultants in the field of capacity development Support the concept and design of a conflict-sensitive results-based monitoring system (incl. related surveys and assessments) and provide quality control and backstopping Support the general project planning and development of the program design as well as reporting, quality and knowledge management Undertake field visits Other tasks as required by the Team Leader   Qualifications/Skills: University degree in a field related to psychosocial work (e.g. MA in psychology, social work etc.) Arabic native speaker; very good knowledge of English and French language Experience of project management and research experience in an area related to the program’s requirements is desirable Familiarity with methods of empirical social sciences, incl. participatory approaches, would be an advantage Experience in working with ministries and governmental institutions (in the educational sector) Work experience in the field of psychosocial support Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed –corresponding measures are agreed with management Political and conflict sensitivity and personal interest in working in a refugee context   Experience: At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the relevant  sectors in Lebanon   Applications: Only qualified candidates are requested to send their application:  motivation letter and CV to info-lebanon@giz.de before December 3rd, 2015.
