Social Worker - Community Center (Repost)

The social worker responsibility is to conduct all the activities at the community centre. These responsibilities include: Social counselling in response to the needs of refugees Home visits to assess the needs of the HH Outreach activities Conduct field visits depending on the follow-up to be provided to each beneficiary (hospital, school, …) Assess, plan and implement activities in close collaboration with the community center manager Refer eligible cases to adequate service providers Refer traumatized cases to the psychologist for counselling and assistance Coordinate with other partners/stakeholders in the regions working with refugees to avoid duplication and provide better services Collaborate with SW colleagues to identify participants for the sessions. Attend meetings Conduct working groups with women, men, youth and children Accompany beneficiaries  during recreational activities Perform administrative and secretarial support functions Data entry Responsible for Dorcas visibility.  Any other tasks as requested    Job requirements: Organised, detail-oriented and accurate personality; Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively multi-task;  Adherence to the mission and vision of Dorcas; Motivated by a spirit of service; Familiar with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; English speaking an asset.
