Psychologist

Objective + Tasks :  Learn about the cases that occur in special classes and daycare (listening, observation, and analysis of the file): Welcome the people in need of psychological counseling. Track the pathological problems of children: language delay, stuttering, behavioral disorders, violent attitude and reactions, relationship difficulties, etc… Assess the classes’ level. Implement Action plans and Individual progress plans: Conduct meetings and individual interviews with beneficiaries to collect the information needed on the case. Develop the problematic of each case and formulate work hypothesis. Brainstorm with the specialists in the unit about action plans and Individual Progress Plans (IPP). Establish IPP and action plans. Perform and monitor the progress of IPP in coordination with the health teams and the youth center: Involve the beneficiary and his entourage in the realization of the action plan. Establish a psychological support throughout the implementation of the action plan. Ensure the contact with the center and the specialists of the health unit; and communicate information about the progress Working Hours : 8 AM– 2 PM In contact with third parties: Children’s parents  In contact with colleagues: Specialists of the center, head of the center, head of the program Professional competencies: Deep knowledge of the child psychology Understanding of the academic world Personal competencies: Listening skills Good communication skills Capacity to analyze Integrity Team work Patience
