Project Officer

Objective + Tasks : Coordinate the operational implementation of the project « Improving infrastructure and supporting food economy in Beqaa for a better access to basic resources for Syrian refugees and host communities » : Supervision of projects including civil works, mechanical and electrical, for the construction of the following structures: Irrigation Channels, Network and irrigation pumps with solar panels, network of drinking water, sewage treatment unit, post harvest chilling center Daily tours to each site: quality control, monitoring progress according to schedule, and writing a daily report. Solving  Problem with immediate information recovery to project coordinator Assist in contacting  and following-up with suppliers / contractors Assistance in evaluating various offers Develop and execute test protocols that will determine the acceptance of works and equipment Capitalize and document the tracking of work Ensure the facilities based of the new project « Improving infrastructure and supporting food economy in Beqaa for a better access to basic resources for Syrian refugees and host communities » Archive and list the documents generated during the project Participate in the development of standard procedures for operations relating to wastewater treatment plants and the post-harvest center Participate in the training of personnel who will be responsible for monitoring the facilities and equipment in place Personal skills : Entrepreneur Good communication with different socio-cultural levels Teamwork and cooperation Organization and method Attention to detail and quality of work Meeting deadlines and working procedures Professional skills : Scientific rigor Good computer skills Ability to work in the field Experience on construction sites Ability to write reports and analytical mind Work Constraints : Moving between Bekaa - Beirut Computer Literacy : Field visits and site Computer Literacy : Office Google earth MS Project Knowledge of a GIS or mapping software Autocad is a plus Workplace Location : Bekaa - Taanayel  Working Hours : 9 AM– 17 PM
