We are looking for a highly qualified candidate to fit the position of Cash For Rent Assistant in Tripoli. Who are we?DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the jobConducting HH and Individual assessment and profiling vulnerability (socio-economic and protection concerns): Duties•Organize and conduct assessment household visits to verify and evaluate the socio-economical situation and protection profile of selected beneficiaries.•Ensure the verification schedule, data collection targets, and reporting deadlines are adhered to;•Data entry of the findings of the assessment;•Preparation of supporting document for the release of cash transfer; •Ensuring compliance of the Code of Conduct and relevant SOP; About youTo be successful in this role you must have Bachelor in Social work, political science, law or other related field;  Good knowledge of protection principle in humanitarian settings; Good knowledge of vulnerability criteria; Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of client at all times; Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel); Previous experience in international organizations and humanitarian settings; Previous experience working with Syrian refugees in Lebanon and at least 1 years experience in humanitarian aid; Ideally you will also have Qualitative and quantitative data collection and previous experience in Open Data Kit platform. We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from the 1st of November 2015 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
