About the jobSupervise and coordinate the implementation of Social Cohesion pilot project and Community development related activities including livelihood, community support projects and conflict management in T5.
Duties•Provide strategic guidance and support to business entrepreneurs and support in providing appropriate trainings and information activities •Support in implementing business development activities in coordination with different stakeholders.•Monitor and supervise the business expenditure plan of the entrepreneurs and provide mentoring and advisory when needed •Supervise and Conduct FGDs with beneficiaries and different stakeholders to assess the POC interests and needs•Design projects based on need, communal interest and sustainability as well as ensuring timely implementation•Ensure proper monitoring during the different stages of CSPs implementation •Organize and design recreational activities, trainings, awareness based on assessment findings•Organize and ensure a timely, proper written weekly reporting and report daily if needed on problems faced;•Provide reporting documentation for both internal and external purpose in addition to tracking and sharing success stories•Monitor and supervise community development activities, share lessons learnt and report to the line manager on any unmet gaps or needs•Keep soft and hard records of all procurement contracts (services, goods, works) related to his/her sector of responsibility in collaboration with line Manager;•Ensure timely and supervise payments in his/her sector of responsibility;•Include a sector financial part in the monthly reporting to the line manager;
About youTo be successful in this role you must have University degree, preferably with degree in socio economics or community development; Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience; Proficiency in social media marketing and Microsoft office; Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationship with key stakeholders and strong skills in strategic planning and market feasibility study
Ideally you will also have Preferably with previous experience and knowledge in SME field
We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 3 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from 15 October 2015 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level D1, equivalent to 2,015$ per month.
