Filing Clerk (Programme Unit) – Hrc002 – Service Contract,(2 Months) – (4 Vacancies) - Beirut

    The Filing clerk is responsible for barcode scanning of the refugee cards and its placement in corresponding boxes as per guidance established by the organization. He/She will be receiving guidance on the scope of work by the supervisor. The incumbent has regular contacts with staff within UNHCR office involving a limited exchange of information.   2.2 FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT. Focusing on the deliverables and the achievements expected from the job, describe the functions to be performed by the incumbent of the position. Describe also the engagement and the degree of relationships with clients/partners, and the impact of actions. Accountability: - To ensure management of winter refugee cards that will be disseminated to relevant beneficiaries in accordance with UNHCR SOP. Responsibility: - Assist with keeping track of winter refugee cards and ensuring that the stock on hand matches the quantities requested quantities by UNHCR. - Assist with keeping an electronic inventory of cards received, barcode scanning of card mailers in a timely and efficient manner as per UNHCR proposed timeline, and ensure relevant materials remain in proper conditions. - Ensure a proper return and placement of card mailers into designated boxes and keep track of dispatched boxes to the field Offices. ;

2.4 ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

- 1 year of relevant experience
- Fluency in Arabic and good English language skills.
- Secondary Education. University Degree is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel)
