Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

JOB PURPOSE The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (M&E Officer) will be providing support in monitoring and evaluating ongoing projects. He will be responsible for overall M&E and learning needs of the project and will come up with findings based on real data to show performance of the projects.   MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop a database for the project's beneficiaries Develop project monitoring plan and supervise regular data collection Record, manage and preserve monitoring and evaluation data in a safe and accessible way Coordinate in collecting data against project indicators Analyse and discuss findings based on regular monitoring data Provide technical support on M&E and evidence-based recommendations to the relevant Project Manager and Partners. Participate actively in the budgeting process Support AMURT team in developing the annual reports. Provide the manager with monthly detailed report Others as required by manager Qualifications/Requirements: Oral and written communication skill in English and Arabic languages  Prior experience with statistical work and/or baseline surveys. Excellent MS Excel skills Demonstrated capacity to innovate and think creatively Excellent organizational and interpersonal capabilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
