The main responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Oversee and supervise the administrative function of the organization including reception, property/facility management, safety of the work environment, and provision of furnishings and equipment necessary for effective operations
Oversee the management of all leases, contracts and other financial commitments
Invest funds
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing projects
Maintain banking relationships
Manage the preparation of the company's budget
Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances
Create additional analyses and reports as necessary
Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction
Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met
Others, as requested by management
Qualifications/Requirements: • Oral and written communication skill in English and Arabic languages • Excellent accounting software and MS Excel skills • Prior experience in Lebanese regulations governing NGOs.
• Demonstrated capacity to innovate and think creatively • Excellent organizational and interpersonal capabilities • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
