Who are we?The Danish Refugee Council has worked in Lebanon since September 2004, and the programs have followed the country’s needs and progress. The main focus of today’s efforts in Lebanon is to help the hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, who have fled across the border to find protection from the conflict in their homeland. DRC is simultaneously maintaining the efforts toward the vulnerable groups of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. More than 200.000 Syrian refugees have received assitance from the Danish Refugee Council since the beginning of the crisis.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the jobUnder the supervision of the senior Finance, HR & Admin officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for scanning, filling correctly the cashbook and other paper work that needs to be sent to Beirut. Duties- Scan/photocopy payment vouchers to create a backup on one drive/send to Beirut;- Managee-correspondence for the volunteer position. About youTo be successful in this role you must have:• Essential; Completed Secondary School and pursuing University education • Proven ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines;• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel)• Minimum of 1 year relevant working experience• Fair in English and Arabic Ideally you will also have:• University degree in Accounting or related area;• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility;• Previous experience in Finance work in INGOs We offerAn interesting volunteering in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a contract until end of September 2015, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be willing and able to work in Kobayat Akkar.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Volunteering for National staff.
