Security Guard

Minimum required knowledge & experience: Ÿ Primary school level Ÿ Similar work experience desirable Ÿ Basic knowledge of English Ÿ Good physical condition Function description: · Performs security screening of people and/ or vehicles · Reports incidents to security responsible 　 SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES Visitors: · Keeps watch over the WTTC floor and belongings · Is positioned near or opposite the entrance to the floor to identify visitors coming/going and direct them to the correct location · Checks identification of all visitors before entering the WTTC facility (allows WTTC staff and ICRC interlocutors in) · Informs ICRC management and gets the green light before allowing people in without identification/documentation who wants to enter the facility without a proper explanation · Directs people visiting the WTTC outpatient facility to seats in the corridor, request them not to wonder around in the ward and to eave once they have finished their consultation · Registers all non-WTTC staff in the registration book provided by ICRC. · Ask people who have been seen at the WTTC OPD to leave the facility immediately unless requested otherwise. Security: · Visually checks the facility when empty at least x 1 every hour. · If there are any security concerns or threats, the WTTC management and security supervisor must be immediately informed · Should there be a security incident, a short and concise written security report would be required. · Is aware of all-important contacts in case of emergency. · Ensures that the facility is free from security potential incidents (fire, thefts, flood, etc.) by checking opened windows, doors (outside, inside), etc · Knows the place of fire extinguishers and how to use them
