Assessment, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer- Regional Mission

RESPONSIBILITIES   Objective 1: Data collection Activities/Main duties:     -Under the supervision of the AM&EL Coordinator, lead the implementation of the needs assessment and M&E field activities -Ensure the data are properly collected and available for analysis, reporting and future strategic orientations   Objective 2: Reporting and data analysis Activities/Main duties: -Produce timely M&E and assessment reports including decision oriented information and recommendations -In close collaboration with the AM&EL Coordinator, ensure the flexibility and adaptability of the monitoring process and tools to integrate amendments to the projects and context evolution. -Contribute to other necessary reports upon request from line manager   Objective 3: HR Management Activities/Main duties: -Manage the field evaluators schedule and objectives -Organise the monthly planning of monitoring activities in accordance with the priorities defined by the AM&EL Coordinator. -Organize formal briefings and debriefings and provide technical support to the evaluators on the field; -Participate to a qualitative analysis of issues faced on the field and the lesson learning processes. -Organize training/refreshment when needed   Objective 4: Ethic and professional practice Activities/Main duties: -Respect beneficiaries’ confidentiality. -Respect and promote HI’s policies and report to your line manager any non respect of these policies amongst the teams or partners. -Address needs and requests in a professional way. -Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others.

Background: Bachelor Degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics or any other related field; A minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position preferably with local or international NGOs
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English
Driving licence:
Computer skills: Good command of Excel and Microsoft Word
Personal qualities & soft skills: Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently; Desire to learn, cultural sensitivity, and flexibility; Willingness to travel outside Lebanon for work-related purposes
