Project Manager

ASSABIL is an NGO established in 1997 to promote reading in Lebanon, in particular through the establishment, promotion and support of public libraries that are free and open to all. ASSABIL currently manages three municipal public libraries in Beirut as well as a mobile library. In addition, it supports a network of 25 public libraries in different regions in Lebanon, mainly through book donations, training, expertise and activity programmes.  ASSABIL is looking for a project manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience of project management with an NGO. Experience in projects related to children's literature, public libraries, education, culture and human is a plus. Key Responsibilities:  - Project Development in line with the strategic objectives of ASSABIL - Project Proposal Writing - Oversee the timely and complete mplementation of projects, including managing expenses and reporting to funders - Contribute to the development of a communication strategy for the association - Overseeing the development and update of ASSABIL's website - Overseeing the production of ASSABIL's newsletter Applicants should submit their CV's via e-mail by midnight of August 17, 2015.
