Trainer (Repost)

  Functions and responsibility:   The trainer will be responsible of preparing, conducting and evaluating community health trainings sessions targeting the community health workers, members of the Syrian community. The training will provide them knowledge, skills and tools to improve the health status of the community where they live.   In accordance with established policies and procedures, the trainer will:   Write and develop training and teaching tools with the collaboration of the community health team (including presentation methods, evaluation forms, and handouts). Develop the list of equipment and materials which is necessary for carrying out training sessions. Provide the community health workers with trainings concerning: Health messaging, public speaking and community health promotion (including hygiene promotion, antenatal care, exclusive breastfeeding, food safety, communicable diseases). Advise on backup materials to be distributed Collaborate with the community health team to assess the training needs of the community health workers. Coach and support the community health worker in utilizing the health education materiel tools.
