Project Manager

Job Overview/Summary: The project manager will be based in Beirut and will lead in planning, managing and monitoring the implementation of relief projects all over Lebanon (North, Bekaa, Mount Lebanon and South) and conducting periodic field visits for that. Note that Irshad & Islah organization has been working with Syrian refugees since the beginning of the Syrian Crisis in 2011. Major Responsibilities: Develop a work plan, timeline, budget and monitoring tools, and ensure all activities are performed and implemented according to these planning tools. Grant writing. Coordinate, plan, supervise and evaluate the relief department activities. Capacity building for the team. Implement effective coordination and communication within the team. Prepare and follow work plans with each program coordinator. Comply with all logistics, financial, HR and administrative procedures. Manage and lead the need assessment in all phases (survey, training, results, reports, and supervision). Control the project implementation and quality of the activities through field visits. Building and maintaining partnership with local and international NGOs and community representative (including municipalities). Drafting reports (weekly, monthly, donor, progress...). Ensure a positive working environment and good team dynamics (solve out potential conflicts). Job Requirements: Excellent in strategic planning. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Leadership skills. Project management skills. Ability to establishing priorities, plan, organize, coordinate, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Ability to manage stress and be flexible and accommodating in difficult working circumstances. Good understanding of the humanitarian sector and experience in implementing relief projects. Computer literate with significant experience in Microsoft application. Fluency in English and Arabic.
