-Scope of responsibility:
Carry out all activities related to medical data entry into the mission database.
I- Function responsibilities:
a- Human resources management:
Supervise the health promotion (HP) team and the PSEC team and ensure a positive dynamic within the team.
Participate to the recruitment of the HP and the PSEC team members of the project.
Evaluate needs for training and ensure training of this staff (formal/informal), under the supervision of the hierarchical referent.
b- Education and Training:
Organize and implement trainings and workshops with target groups according to the HP work plan.
Propose, plan and carry out trainings and workshops for educators, health service users, health professionals, public authorities, community leaders and other support groups.
Develop workshops or lectures on project related subjects and the services offered by MSF.
c- Health promotion and PSEC strategy:
Develop and implement the HP and PSEC components and their strategies of Beeka project according to the log frame and chronogram:
- Implement and supervise the HP and PSEC activities in each clinic and outreach.
- Responsible of the creation and implementation of the HP and PSEC tools (draft-testing-validation-implementation).
Perform focus groups on specific topics if required for the understanding of the target population and the HP and PSEC program.
Identify the key messages and develop HP and PSEC materials adapted according to the needs for the project and team and by respecting the social and cultural environment.
In close coordination with the medical team, develop the patient education material for nurse/GP/Midwife and its approach on the different components (NCD-SRH-PHC) and assist in its implementation/training on methodology and follow up.
d- Communication and networking:
Represent MSF and maintain regular contact with authorities and stake holders at community level (community leaders, coordinators, social development actors, NGOs, enabling community health centres, schools, etc...).
Carry out advocacy and communication activities aimed at improving knowledge of relevant health areas.
e- Monitoring, analysis and reporting:
Participate in the development of the plan of action.
Participate actively in the monitoring and the reporting of outreach activities (forms, statistics, reports) and propose analyse of these statistics and activities.
Ensure a relevant transfer of information to the next duty team.
Report immediately to the technical referent any problem arising in the service, especially the loss/ robbery/damage of medical equipment or medicines.

Education degree: Bachelor Degree Field of education: Nurse degree/diploma recognised by National Authorities – Sociology and Psychology degree and / or Specialized Educator diploma or Social Worker certification.
-Required qualification:
Thoroughness, rigour, flexibility, initiative, resourcefulness, ability to work with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural people, open-minded, team management experience and communication experience.
Mother tongue Arabic, perfectly fluent in English, French an asset.
