Emergency Cash Officer

Duties• Receive referrals from different agencies and ensure proper planning of HHs assessment visits;• Coordination with M&E department for internal referral of UCAP assessment • Supervise the work of Shelter Assessment and emergency cash Assistants during the assessment visits;• Ensure the accuracy of data collected in the field;• Keep the dataset of HH assessment visit always updated;• Organize and participate in Weekly Shelter Panel Meetings in collaboration with UNHCR;• Refer eligible cases to Shelter Manager for shelter provision;• Refer eligible cases for financial assistance for release of cash entitlement on the basis of DRC SOP;• Manage Shelter Assessment and Emergency Assistants and build their capacity;• Participate in Eviction committee Meetings;• To provide weekly sitreps, monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual reports;• Fulfilling any other relevant duties as requested by the Protection Area Manager. About you• Bachelor in Social work, political science, law or related field;• At least 3 years of experience in humanitarian aid;• At least 3 years’ experience of staff management;• Good knowledge of protection principle in humanitarian settings;• Good knowledge of vulnerability criteria;• Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of client at all times; • Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel)• Fluency in Arabic and English. • Previous experience in international organizations and humanitarian settings;• Previous experience working with Syrian refugees in Lebanon; We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGO. DRC will offer the successful applicant a six month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. Basic Salary: 1,561 USD.
