Objectives and responsibilities:
Coordinate technical and socio-economic study of the feasibility of the project "Improving infrastructure and supporting food economy in Beqaa for a better access to basic resources for Syrian refugees and host communities" in connection with the design office
Follow the design office responsible for carrying out the study of water management and treatment on the field: respond to information requests of the latter, collect field data, accompany it in field visits and ensure compliance of the study with the specifications
Map streams impacted, as well as the positive or negative impact on farmers in the region
Capitalize and document the evolution of the study
Define the specifications and coordinate operational implementation of the project work « Improving infrastructure and supporting food economy in Beqaa for a better access to basic resources for Syrian refugees and host communities »
Coordinate with the rest of the team preparing the specifications for the work of screening and sedimentation, domain wastewater purification, purification and distribution of drinking water to refugees
Send the specifications to suppliers and monitor for the receipt of tenders
Assist in the reading of offers and choice of providers
Monitor implementation on the field (site visits with daily return to the general coordinator)
Develop and execute test protocols that will determine the acceptance of the work and equipment
Capitalize and document work monitoring
Ensure the operationalization of the new facilities of the project « Improving infrastructure and supporting food economy in Beqaa for a better access to basic resources for Syrian refugees and host communities »
Archive and list the documents generated during the project
Develop standard operating procedures relating to wastewater treatment plants
Train personnel who will be responsible for monitoring the facilities and equipment in place
Assist the environmental program in the treatment project of the Litani River tributaries (following the evolution of the project and the progress of the project « Improving infrastructure and supporting food economy in Beqaa for a better access to basic resources for Syrian refugees and host communities »)
Participate in the technical, socio-economic and financial feasibility study of the project (coordinate with the design office, collect data on the number of wastewater-capita equivalents, which flows into the River Chtaura, map the various effluents of the river, analyze the needs of municipalities, study the plans of the Ministry of Water and Energy and water boards and other existing studies, track the EIA and permits to obtain, choose the way to go for treatment - technique, capacity, location - financial estimate)

Contribute to the drafting of specifications and tenders
