Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Case management:
Provide a clinical psychological assessment on selected cases referred by the case workers
Provide psychological support to cases referred by the case workers in line with case plan objectives
Closely monitor and document the psychological recovery of cases referred by the case workers.
If needed accompany the case workers during the home visits;
Ensure the self-care program for all INTERSOS case workers in Bekaa;
Participate in case management meetings as required.
Informs the Program Manager about any difficulty met in INTERSOS activities implementation or problems observed in team dynamics;
Accomplish any other assignments given by supervisors or the PM.
Support to Community services:
Assess the needs of the targeted beneficiaries in each center and design, in collaboration with the staff, a package of PSS activities for the beneficiaries of INTERSOS centers;
Support INTERSOS staff to improve the quality of specialized services provided (specialized psychological services, group therapy, individual counseling, basic Sexual Reproductive Health services) for different target groups, incl. individual at risk (CP or PwSN) in the different CCs;
Design activities with psychological purposes for vulnerable children, youth, women at risk and men attending INTERSOS CCs;
Support INTERSOS animators/social workers in organizing and conducting support groups for individual at risk in each center, in straight collaboration with the Field Activities Coordinators (FACs);
Monitor the activities (awareness and support groups), within the centers and outside, conducted by the animators/social workers and the community mobilizers;
Report to the FACs, the Protection Officer and the Program Manager on any problems and/or training needs identified during the monitoring of social workers and case workers activities;
Produce and maintain in an accurate way a weekly report of the activities conducted;
Informs the Program Manager about any difficulty met in INTERSOS activities implementation or problems observed in team dynamics;
Be available to train on psychological support and first aid INTERSOS staff when requested;
Accomplish any other assignments given by supervisors or the PM.
Reporting:
Produce and maintain accurate clinical records of the beneficiaries.
Write technical reports on specific cases identified during the individual psychological support sessions.
Case files and technical reports must be archived in locked and secure location; access to them should be restricted only to relevant, authorized protection program staff.
Set up a monitoring system to evaluate the effectiveness and the impact of the planned individual and group psychological support intervention programs on the beneficiaries.
Provide to the Protection Officer and Program Manager a weekly and monthly report on the activities conducted.
Meeting:
Participate in set team meetings for case management
Meet with other program staff as required.
Take part in any other activities as requested by the supervisor.

- Native Arabic and very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Computer/IT literacy (OS Windows/Linux, MS Office, Internet etc.);
- Excellent analysis and reporting;
- Excellent communication and organization;
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of local communities and customary rules;
- Punctuality and respect for applicable rules and procedures;
- Strongly objective and impartial reasoning;
- Ethical and transparent decision-making;
- Independence, i.e. conducting tasks with minimal supervision, and stress resilience;
- Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work;
- Flexibility, tolerance and maturity.
