Education Expert & Community Mobilization Officer (Eecmo/nbkaa/unhcr)

Child Protection & Community Outreach Officer   Within the framework of the initiatives promoted in the Bekaa Governorate in support of people affected by the Syrian crisis and funded by UNHCR, TdH – It is looking for a Education Expert & Community Mobilization Officer to join the team in order to support the project activities carried out.    Main duties and responsibilities Provide necessary technical support and documentation to enhance and sustain the activities' quality of implementation in collaboration with PM Promote the diffusion of Child Protection messages and organize sessions ad hoc with the beneficiaries Supervise the organization of community events and of the distributions to convey Child Protection messages Perform regular assessment of the activities' quality of implementation and content Refer beneficiaries requiring special care to outreach team, and follow up the referred cases' conditions in collaboration with the Education Coordinators Reports to the PM on regular basis on both technical and organizational level Ensure appropriate monitoring and evaluation systems are in place, support staff in all monitoring processes and provide monthly and weekly reports on progress of activities Organize monthly meetings with Education Coordinators, Officers and Assistants to share lessons learned and exchange experiences Establishing and maintaining a weekly and monthly work plan which will include monitoring visits to the activities on a weekly basis Write weekly and monthly reports Ensure the collection of quality data Share information on field-level successes and challenges with the team Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by the Programme Manager or any other person appointed by PM   Qualifications, experience and competencies   -          At least one year of experience working in child centred programming in the region -          Education degree: Bachelor or University Degree in education, psychology, social work, sociology, or relevant field -          Experience in working with children mandatory -          Experience in working with children in emergency preferably -          Experience in field work is required -          Management experience -          Experience in working in NGO preferable -          Fluency in Arabic and conversation and written English mandatory -          Knowledge of child protection standards -          Proficient in Word and excel -          Driving license required.   Conditions Full time job of 40 hours per week, distributed in five days according the needs of the program.
