Info Management Officer

Minimum required knowledge & experience: •           University degree in Engineering, environment, geography or G.I.S related field  •           Proven experience in elaboration of simple databases, including data processing •           Very good computer skills (MS Office Suite, ARCGIS, QGIS, Photoshop, Adobe, Publisher or equivalent) •           Very good analytical skills •          Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic  Standard function description: Advise on the need of collecting information/data according to operational priorities of the delegation  Contribute to the collection of data and the simplification of the processes  Advises on adequate reporting tools to meet the delegation’s needs (Advocacy, internal reporting, briefing for donors, etc) Develop dashboards mixing maps and charts for a better aggregation of the data. Update existing maps with ICRC presence and activities in Lebanon  Use a core set of ICRC standard visual identity, merge data from various sources of information  to the latest maps and online infographic tools  Use the global referential data and update the Lebanon one Advise on a better use of online platforms (web page, social media, etc), contributing to innovative formats and generating content Produces visual tools to understand trends and patterns related to humanitarian, security and socio-economic issues Support the delegation produce briefing tools including audio-visual and graphics
