Frontiers Ruwad is a non-profit and apolitical NGO that aims at enhancing the human rights of marginalized groups in Lebanon. Its main programs focus on forced migration and statelessness. It is seeking a project implementation officer for its statelessness project. There are estimated to be tens of thousands of stateless persons in Lebanon who do not hold any nationality. The causes of statelessness are multiple and vary between historical roots and administrative practice.
The Project Implementation Officer will work closely with the Project Director.
Responsibilities include:
Participate to the management and supervision of the project;
Manage the tasks distribution and coordinate schedules of project team members;
Ensure adequate coverage and documentation of project activities;
Contribute to planning project activities and provide logistical support.
Maintain regular contact with contacts and partners;
Keep track of contract deadlines and of all payments, cash advances and reimbursements.
Contribute to financial operations, purchasing, accounting and office supplies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor in Administration or business
2 to 3 years of work experience with NGOs, INGOs or UN agencies
Excellent computer skills
Proficiency in English and Arabic; French will be an asset
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, meet deadlines and be detail oriented.
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism
Commitment to human rights issues.
