Security Guard (Zahle)

ROLE PURPOSE: The overall objective of this position is to reduce the risks posed to the programme personnel and assets of all national and international SC staff through securing the premises of SCI facilities and assets. The Security Guard will implement security and safety measures as per the guidance of the Security Officer in the field. This role will include crowd control, access control.   KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: To be part of the Zahle field office team Monitors the security environment and make recommendations to the security officer Shows proactivity, politeness and awareness To receive humanitarian safety/security trainings Organize and be responsible for keeping records for all visitors and staffs entering SCI premises Liaise with the community as per the instructions of the security officer Patrol the premises of the facilities (offices, guesthouses, warehouses, etc) with dedication QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES Essential: Knows how to read and write in Arabic, English language is a plus Previous military or police experience Good physical condition Willingness to work and travel in often difficult and insecure environments; Commitment to Save the Children global policies and values. Valid Driving Licence
