Consultant For “Positive Attitude To Teaching” For Teachers In North

Document Purpose This document outlines the goals of the session that will be conducted for teachers in schools, the responsibilities of World Vision (first party), and the responsibilities of potential contracted second parties. It also defines the process interested second parties must undergo in order to bid for contract fulfillment, as well as a timeframe for overall project success.   Project Description Under the Education log frame FY15 in Besharreh ADP, we are targeting teachers in schools in order to be provided by tools on modern teaching techniques such as positive attitude to teaching after we worked on active learning techniques and team work last year. Therefore, we need to hire a consultant to conduct this activity once. Contractor (Second Party) Specifications A qualified candidate for the second party contractor must: Provide and/or monitor the provision of trainings to teachers on “positive attitude to teaching” Be sufficiently able to fulfill contract requirements within specified timeframe    Sessions Specifications The session designed by the second party must: Duration of session is no longer than 4 hours The session should be active and insure the attendee’s participation. The consultant should be available during February 2015. Available upon the schools suitable time for the session. Final report should be submitted for World Vision after conducting the activities.   Party Responsibilities World Vision (First Party) The first party agrees to: Secure the agreement of sufficient school to host the session. Provide sufficient project funding. Coordinate with schools (third parties) to book session date, as well as coordinate all logistics of executing the sessions.   Contractor (Second Party) The second party agrees to: Prepare the session and its materials (program of the day, handouts, final report) At each session, the second party agrees to fill in an attendance sheet – signed by both the second party and third party representatives – detailing: Name of school, location, date, time, number of teachers attended the session Maintain the visibility of World Vision Lebanon during all phases of the project, and the shared producing rights after the end of the project.   Project Timeframe Bids process  Sign the contract    Date of the session: February 2015
