Major Donor And Corporate Fundraiser

Direct Supervisor: Head of Fund Development and Communications Mission of the position of the Major Donor Fundraiser is to pursue opportunities with and fundraise from the HNWI and the large scale corporate companies of the country to fund the relevant programmes, investments and costs of the National Association in accordance with the National Fundraising Strategy and the Annual Business Plan; by monitoring, evaluating and analysing the actual results and the competitor activities, whether financial or In Kind. Establish and maintain long term partnerships with HNWI and large scale corporate donors, manage and upgrade the accounts, network and position the association according to its brand, mission and values. Main Clients: Large scale corporate enterprises: national or multinational companies HNWI Head of Fundraising FR team colleagues for individual & corporate fundraising and communications Duties In line with the FDC Manager, develop the SOS CV Lebanon major giving strategy (corporate and HNWI) in order to establish a sustainable funding base from this source. This will involve working closely with programme staff and regional and international staff To work with the FDC Manager to conceive, plan and develop a cultivation and stewardship programme for key individuals and big corporates to develop a programme of engagement activities and acknowledgement opportunities. To maximize income from donors and prospects drawn from individuals of high net worth(who can give more than 5,000USD) , through the packing and tailoring of funding proposals and the management, development and cultivation of donors and prospects. To prepare and present high quality proposals which take into consideration a company’s CSR and market interests and match these with areas of the work of the association. To raise income to agreed financial targets for services and influencing activities. To identify and engage with new donors capable of giving more than $5000 To build and develop existing major donor relationships. To apply knowledge gained from donor relations to assist the FDC Manager to plan future activities, improve the major giving strategy and increase income. To ensure SOS CV Lebanon meets all its agreements, reporting and accounting obligations towards individuals. Must Criteria: University degree in the field of international business development / marketing, sales / business administration / business management / public relations or communications. Masters Degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset. At least 3-5 years verified experience and results in the field of marketing, fundraising or sales In addition to Arabic, a good knowledge of English is required Can identify with the vision, mission and values of SOS Children’s Villages. Negotiation skills, experience in negotiations and management of business partners   Competencies - knowledge, skills, abilities: Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills Good written communication skills Good at relationship-building with different levels of different organizations Ability to work under pressure Innovative and creative and demonstrates high professional standards Has perseverance Good use of computer and the internet Preferred Additional Criteria: Good team player Has analytical thinking Has a driving license Good knowledge of French
