Duties• Conduct mobile field visits 4 days per week to refugee settlement and host population areas to meet with community key stakeholders and identify protection concerns; • Identify and refer most vulnerable identified cases as well as individuals faced with protection concerns (incl. GBV, Child protection, etc.) to relevant services; • Enter collected data in digital data collection systems and transfer these data to Protection officer on regular basis; • During field visits, conduct information sessions on available services and other topics; • Identify community focal points and settlement representatives to organize and conduct protection monitoring activities and follow up; • Work closely with PSS and Capacity building officers to ensure GBV/Child protection prevention and response is adequately addressed across sectors and humanitarian interventions;Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by the Protection Officer. About youTo be successful in this role you must have• Bachelor in Social work, political science, law or related field;• Minimum two years experience in an NGO, preferably in social or legal work.• Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of client at all times; • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility.• Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well.• Flexibility in working overtime when needed; Fluency in Arabic required; We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a six month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work as soon as possible and be willing and able to work in South.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
